Along Saudi Arabia’s Red Sea coast, fishing remains an important part of community life. In Yanbu, generations of fishermen have relied on local knowledge, seasonal rhythms and a close relationship with the sea. Photographed over several days, this project documents life on the waterfront — from preparing boats and repairing nets to the moments between departures and arrivals. The work forms part of a wider exploration of traditional industries and coastal communities navigating change while maintaining strong connections to heritage and place.
